Sound of weaving

Inspired by the Lewis textile collection, Seiko has created new body of work developed with Dennis Tuckerman, a musician & sound specialist. She has recorded sounds of weaving, ranging from a traditional hand loom to big factory machine looms, both in the U.K and Japan. Each recording is accompanied by the sounds of weavers and workers mimicking the noise of a weaving loom. Mixing both elements, she tries to bring vibrant life to a normally quiet room.
