Commissioned by Sheffield NHS Hospital Charity. Funded by Arts Council England.
Seiko worked this artists residency with fellow artists Coralie Turpin and Jason Thompson. Working together with patients and staff of the Spinal Injury Department at Northern General Hospital.
Later part of the work by both artists and patients was exhibited in the Millenium Galleries, Sheffield and then installed as a permanent display in the department.
Seiko found this project a really rewarding experience, being part of patients' rehabilitation and recovery.
This work won the Patient Choice Award at the Building Better Healthcare Awards 2018.
